Painted in Vienna in 1907–08, at the height of Gustav Klimt's Golden Period, The Kiss wraps two lovers in a cloak of gold and ornament. It is one of the most loved images in European art.
Here the painting becomes a table lamp in Murano glass, made piece by piece by our glassmakers in Murano, Italy. It fills the room with warm, coloured light.

Material & craft
Art glass, coloured with minerals and worked entirely by hand in Italy. Each sheet is cut, layered and fired in the kiln, piece by piece.

Size & care
Sizes are approximate: every piece is shaped by hand, so dimensions can vary by a few centimetres from one piece to the next.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, clean gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive products, the dishwasher and sudden changes in temperature.
Shipping & returns
Timing depends on whether your piece is in stock. If it is, it leaves Italy as soon as it is packed. If it is not, we make it by hand for you: this takes from 2 to 6 weeks, the time the kilns and the handwork need. Either way, we will take care to get it to you as quickly as we can.
