Description
You can almost hear it. An old jazzman with a white beard and dark glasses leans into his saxophone, and the whole plate seems to move with the note he is playing. The golden sax runs down the centre in yellow and amber. Around him the colour swirls like sound in a smoky club: deep purple and violet above, a blaze of orange and yellow on one side, cobalt blue below, and broken shards of black, grey and burgundy that hold the rhythm together.
Every colour is its own piece of glass. Made with the glass fusion technique: sheets of coloured Murano glass are cut by hand, composed piece by piece and fused in the kiln, where the plate also takes its gentle curve. The pieces keep their edges after firing, so the surface stays alive with relief and catches the light from every side.
Original Murano glass, made entirely by hand in Italy by master glassmakers: no two plates are ever the same. Display it as a centrepiece, on a stand or on the wall. A piece for anyone who loves music, and for any room that needs a little more of it.

Size & care
Sizes are approximate: every piece is shaped by hand, so dimensions can vary by a few centimetres from one piece to the next.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, clean gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive products, the dishwasher and sudden changes in temperature.
Shipping & returns
Timing depends on whether your piece is in stock. If it is, it leaves Italy as soon as it is packed. If it is not, we make it by hand for you: this takes from 2 to 6 weeks, the time the kilns and the handwork need. Either way, we will take care to get it to you as quickly as we can.
