Café Terrace at Night (Arles, 1888) was the first painting in which Van Gogh set a starry sky: a café glowing yellow against a deep blue night.

Here the painting becomes a table lamp that fills the room with warm, coloured light. Sheets of coloured Murano glass are cut by hand, composed piece by piece and fused in the kiln in Murano, so no two pieces are ever the same.

Sizes are approximate: every piece is shaped by hand, so dimensions can vary by a few centimetres from one piece to the next.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, clean gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive products, the dishwasher and sudden changes in temperature.

Timing depends on whether your piece is in stock. If it is, it leaves Italy as soon as it is packed. If it is not, we make it by hand for you: this takes from 2 to 6 weeks, the time the kilns and the handwork need. Either way, we will take care to get it to you as quickly as we can.
